Foreign Investment Jumps in E. China
Foreign investment in east China's Jiangxi Province for the first half of the year was nearly double that of the same period last year.

Jiangxi
Province for the first half of the year was nearly double that of the same period last year.
In the first six months, actual foreign investment in Jiangxi reached 969 million US dollars, surging 97.8 percent year-on-year,while contractual foreign investment rose 79.9 percent, to over one billion dollars.
Official figures indicate that foreign investment in Jiangxi peaked in June, when 240 million dollars were registered, exceeding the foreign investment in the province for the entire year of 2000.
From January to June, Jiangxi approved the establishment of 328foreign-funded businesses, up 43.4 percent year-on-year.
