Vietnam to Host Vietnam-China Trade Fair

Vietnam will host Vietnam-China International Trade Fair from November 13-18, 2003 in its northern border province Lao Cai, aiming to promote trade, and export-import activities between the country and the southwestern region of China.

Vietnam will host Vietnam-China International Trade Fair from November 13-18, 2003 in its northern border province Lao Cai, aiming to promote trade, and export-import activities between the country and the southwestern region of China.

At the fair, enterprises will displays items including fresh and processed aquatic products, fruits and vegetables, agricultureand forestry products, electronics, handicrafts, construction materials, machines and equipment at 400 stalls, News reported Friday.

Vietnam and China have set targets of boosting two-way trade turnover to five billion US dollars, and at only Lao Cai border gate to 500 million dollars by 2005.
