Chinese State Councilor, Montenegrin Premier Hold Talks

Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan held talks on Monday with Milo Djukanovic, prime minister of the Republic of Montenegro of Serbia and Montenegro.

Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan held talks on Monday with Milo Djukanovic, prime minister of the Republic of Montenegro of Serbia and Montenegro.

Tang said China and Serbia-Montenegro have developed friendly and cooperative ties under the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.

He said he appreciated that the two republics, Serbia and Montenegro, had dealt with mutual relations through negotiations.

China attached great importance to developing friendly ties andreciprocal cooperation in various sectors with the Republic of Montenegro, Tang said.

Djukanovic said Montenegro will continue to adhere to the "one-China" policy and enhance trade and economic cooperation with China.
