Blair, Koizumi to Talk on Iraq, DPRK's Nuke Issue

The Japanese and British prime ministers will hold talks Saturday on Iraq's reconstruction and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) nuclear issue.

The Japanese and British prime ministers will hold talks Saturday on Iraq's reconstruction and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) nuclear issue.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair will arrive in Japan on Friday afternoon to pay a three-day visit, said the Japanese Foreign Ministry Wednesday.

He is scheduled to meet with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi at the hot-spring resort of Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture. Their topics would focus on Iraq's post-war reconstruction and theDPRK's nuclear issue.

After his tour in Japan, Blair is to visit China from July 20 to 22.
