Chinese Mainland Reports No New SARS Cases(July 28)

The Ministry of Health Monday reported no new severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) cases nornew deaths from the disease on the Chinese mainland for the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. July 27 to 10:00 a.m. July 28.

The Ministry of Health Monday reported no new severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) cases nornew deaths from the disease on the Chinese mainland for the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. July 27 to 10:00 a.m. July 28.

During the 24 hours, the mainland also reported no new suspected SARS cases and no SARS patient discharged from hospital.

As of 10:00 a.m. July 28, the number of SARS patients still in hospitals on the Chinese mainland was 12, all of them in Beijing.
