Real Madrid concluded their nine-day China tour in style by beating the Dragon Team 4-0 on Saturday.
Luis Figo scored in the 43rd minute to give Real Madrid a 1-0 half time lead. Second half substitution Fernando Morientes scoredtwice in 11 minutes and Javier Portillo added the fourth in the stoppage time.
Figo, who gave his preferred right side to new comer David Beckham, played in the left of the midfield and showed some fine touches along with other superstars.
After squandering many chances, Real finally rewarded Chinese fans' enthusiasm of the nine-time European champions. Ronaldo crossed just outside of the box in the left for Figo to score from10 meters.
Beckham, playing his first match for Real Madrid, took the place of Roberto Carlos for the team's two freekicks. But one was stopped by Chinese 'keeper Jiang Hong and the other was just inches wide of the left post.
