Landslide Kills Four in Southwest China
A landslide in southwest China's Sichuan Province killed four passengers in two vehicles early Saturday.

Province killed four passengers in two vehicles early Saturday.
Dong Weiquan, vice-mayor of Mianyang City in Sichuan, said two cars and a truck were buried in the landslide, which took place about 5:30 a.m. at Xiangyan Township in Pingwu County. Three people in the truck died on the spot.
One senior citizen badly injured in the accident died on the way to hospital after he was rescued from a buried car, Dong said.
The driver and passengers of a taxi that was also buried survived for there were outside the car when the disaster fell.
