Iraq to Send New Diplomats to 7 Foreign Countries Soon
Iraq will send its new diplomats to seven foreign countries in the coming days, a senior Iraqi official said on Thursday.

will send its new diplomats to seven foreign countries in the coming days, a senior Iraqi official said on Thursday.
"The ministry will resume diplomatic activities in Washington, London, Cairo, Beirut, Amman, Abu Dhabi and Manama in the coming days," said Ghassan Hussein, head of the preparatory committee in charge of rehabilitate the country's foreign ministry.
Hussein also confirmed that 38 abroad missions will be established by the end of the year.
"All the ambassadors and charges d'affaires have been changed and we will send in their place new heads of liaison offices," he added.
In the wake of the downfall of former regime of Saddam Hussein, 44 Iraqi ambassadors were told to return by early June, but nine of them refused to go back to the occupied country.
