Chief of PLA General Staff Holds Talks with Mozambique Counterpart

Liang Guanglie, chief of the general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), held talks Tuesday with Lagos Lidimo, chief of the general staff of the armed forces of Mozambique.

Liang Guanglie, chief of the general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), held talks Tuesday with Lagos Lidimo, chief of the general staff of the armed forces of Mozambique.

Liang said the Chinese armed forces value their relations with the Mozambique armed forces, and are willing to promote cooperation between the two sides in various fields.

He said the PLA will enhance their military reform with Chinesecharacteristics, and achieve modernization.

Lidimo said the Mozambique will continue to adhere to the "one-China" policy, and the Mozambique armed forces are ready to consolidate cooperation between the two armed forces in various fields.
