The people in Beijing have a chance to visit the venue of the six-party talks on the Korean nuclear issue from Saturday, but just in two days.

A staff member of the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse told Xinhua, both Fang Fei Yuan, where the six parties met in the past three days, and Yang Yuan Zhai Hall, the former imperial dwelling place for Emperor Qianlong (1736-95), will be opened to visitors from 10:00 to 16:00 this Saturday and Sunday.

It is rare for the state guesthouse, which nowadays serves as the lodging for most visiting foreign heads of state and government, to open its gate to the general public.

Diaoyutai, or Angler's Terrace, was built eight hundred years ago in the western part of Beijing by Emperor Zhangzong of the JinDynasty (1115-1234). Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) established his imperial villa at the place and built some additional structures like the Yang Yuan Zhai Hall.

Fang Fei Yuan is the only modern building of 19 villas in the center of the state guesthouse, but its indoor decoration is in typical ancient Chinese style. It has so far received more than 60,000 foreign guests, including heads of state and government, and renowned figures from the international business community and other circles.
