Chinese Vice-premier Meets US Treasury Secretary

Chinese Vice-Premier Huang Ju met with John Snow, Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, and his party Tuesday.

Chinese Vice-Premier Huang Ju met with John Snow, Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, and his party Tuesday.

Vice-Premier Huang, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, briefed Snow on China's economic and financial development and the two sides exchanged views on bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

After his arrival here Tuesday on a working visit at the invitation of the Chinese Ministry of Finance, Snow also met with Jin Renqing, minister of finance, and Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China.
