Liang Guanglie, chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), left here Thursday for an official goodwill visit to Pakistan, Brunei and Malaysia.

Liang's Aisan tour is at the invitation of General Mohammed Aziz Khan, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, Major General Dato Tabuka Feri Haji Awang Halbi bin HajiMohd Yussof, commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, and General Tan Sri Dato's Mohd Zahidi bin Hj Zainuddin, chief of Defense Forces of Malaysia.
