China's Top Legislator Concludes Visits to Three Asian Countries

Wu Bangguo, chairman of China's National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, concluded hisofficial good-will visits to the Philippines, the Republic of Korea (ROK) and Japan, and came back to Beijing Wednesday.

Wu Bangguo, chairman of China's National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, concluded hisofficial good-will visits to the Philippines, the Republic of Korea (ROK) and Japan, and came back to Beijing Wednesday.

Wu attended the fourth annual session of the Association of Asian Parliaments for Peace (AAPP) in Manila during his Asian tour.

Wu's entourage included Gu Xiulian, vice-chairwoman of the NPC Standing Committee.

This is Wu's first foreign visit since he became the NPC Standing Committee chairman in March this year.
