Tong Wen Wins China's Second Gold in World Judo Championships

Asian Games champion Tong Wen clinched China's second gold at the judo world championships in Osaka after beating 2001 silver medalist Karina Bryant of Britain in the women's open class on Sunday.

Asian Games champion Tong Wen clinched China's second gold at the judo world championships in Osaka after beating 2001 silver medalist Karina Bryant of Britain in the women's open class on Sunday.

The Chinese scored an ippon victory over the Briton to grab her first major title.

Former champion Daima Beltran of Cuba and Mara Kovacevic of Serbia Montenegro won the bronze medals, beating defending champion Celine Lebrun of France and Magdalena Koziol of Poland respectively.
