China's electricity regulation should draw on overseas experiences
Chinese Vice-Premier Huang Ju said Wednesday that China should learn from successful overseas experiences in electricity regulation.

Vice-Premier Huang made the remarks at a meeting with overseas participants of the International Conference on Electricity Regulation in China which opened here Wednesday.

China's electric power industry, said Huang, has witnessed substantial growth, with its generating capacity ranking the second in the world.

Electricity regulation in China has become increasingly essential with the development of China's power industry, Huang added.

The Chinese side hopes this conference will help push forward China's electricity regulation, said Vice-Premier Huang.
