Strong earthquake hits Russia's southern Siberia
An earthquake measuring 8.5 on the Richter scale hit Russia's southern Siberia Saturday, Russian news agencies said.

's southern Siberia Saturday, Russian news agencies said.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 15 kilometers about 350 kilometers from Biisk in the Altai region, which borders
Mongolia
and
Kazakhstan
, the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
No casualties or damage was reported.
Tremors were also felt in other regions, such as Krasnoyarsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Novosibirsk and Chita, the ministry said.
The ministry's Siberian center said it expected more tremors.
