A massive power outage hit most parts of
Italy
early Sunday, disrupting civil aviation, railway transportation and normal life of residents.
Most of the country was affected by the blackout shortly after3.30 am (0130 GMT), the ANSA news agency reported.
In Rome, the power outage brought an early close to an all-night party.
There is no report when the power supply will be resumed.
