China to launch quality rice fair in October

The 2003 China (Huaian) Quality Rice Fair is to be staged on Oct. 29-30 in Huaian City, a rice producrt in east China's Jiangsu Province.

The 2003 China (Huaian) Quality Rice Fair is to be staged on Oct. 29-30 in Huaian City, a rice producrt in east China's Jiangsu Province.

During the fair, the first China rice forum will be featured and activities will be held including the display and trade of quality rice products and machines, assessment of famous brands of Chinese rice products, a promotion fair on rice processing technologies and the trade on fine rice species.

The fair will be jointly held by the China Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Technologies, the China Grain Industry Association, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Forestry Department of Jiangsu Province and the Huaian City government.
