German striker Prinz wins double awards
German striker Birgit Prinz won the Golden Ball and Golden Boot awards for the fourth Women's World Cup on Sunday.

German striker Birgit Prinz won the Golden Ball and Golden Boot awards for the fourth Women's World Cup on Sunday.
The Golden Ball award was for the tournament's top player and the Golden Boot award for the top scorer.
Prinz was the top scorer at the World Cup with seven goals.
The Silver Ball went to beaten finalist Victoria Svensson of
Sweden
.
Final goal-hero Maren Meinert of
Germany
took home the Bronze Ball for her consistently brilliant play and seven assists over the course of the tournament.
The Silver Boot honors for second best scorer went to Germany'smidfielder Meinert who hit the net four times.
Brazil
's forward Katia took home the Bronze Shoe award with four goals.
Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament honors went to German bastionSilke Rottenberg. And the Fair Play Trophy was presented to China for the second-consecutive finals.
The Most-Entertaining team award was presented to Germany.
