China Buddhist Association's Tibetan Branch elects new leaders

Tibetan Living Buddha Zhukang Tubdain Kaizhub was elected president of the Tibetan Branch of the Buddhist Association of China Friday, replacing Bomi Qambalozhub, who passed away in 2002.

Tibetan Living Buddha Zhukang Tubdain Kaizhub was elected president of the Tibetan Branch of the Buddhist Association of China Friday, replacing Bomi Qambalozhub, who passed away in 2002.

Dazhag Dainzin Geleg and 13 others were elected vice presidents of the association's Tibetan Branch at its Eighth Tibet Regional Congress, which opened Tuesday and ended Friday.
