Int'l trade fair on art performance opens in Shanghai

More than 300 art performance agents gathered Monday in Shanghai to attend an art performance trade fair held during the on-going Fifth China Shanghai International Arts Festival.

More than 300 art performance agents gathered Monday in Shanghai to attend an art performance trade fair held during the on-going Fifth China Shanghai International Arts Festival.

This is the fourth time that Shanghai hosted the fair.

This year, attendees include more than 130 Chinese and overseasart performance agencies and organizations, coming from the United States, France, Japan, Italy, Canada and Singapore.

Included are the International Art Manager Association, the European Festivals Association, the US' Association of Performance Presenters.

The month-long Shanghai International Arts Festival, which kicked off on Saturday, features more than 150 performances, including symphony orchestras, dances, operas, acrobatics, magic and dramas from home and abroad.
