Yang Chuantang was appointed vice governor and acting governor of northwest China's Qinghai Provinceon Monday.

Yang Chuantang was appointed vice governor and acting governor of northwest China's
Qinghai
Provinceon Monday.
The appointment was made during the Sixth Session of the Standing Committee of the 10th Provincial People's Congress to replace Zhao Leji, who resigned from the post of governor.
Before the appointment, Yang served as deputy secretary and Standing Committee member of Sixth CPC
Tibet
Autonomous Regional Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and alternate member of 16th CPC Central Committee.
