According to the report of CCTV, with the safe landing of Yang Liwei, an insurance contract conducted secretly a month ago has finally been brought to light: China Life Insurance Company exclusively provided an insurance fee of RMB 5 million yuan for Yang Liwei.

As many items of this insurance contract are top secrets, China Life Insurance Company, as a director of China Space Foundation, organized a special team and appointed a special person in handling the job in order to avoid causing extra psychological pressures onto the astronaut and his family. Some foreign insurance companies had also expressed intention to provide the insurance for Yang Liwei.
