Wushu matches at Chinese City Games wrapped up

The matches comprising free combat and route as two major categories were concluded Sunday night. The Zhengzhou city has turned out to be the biggest winner with three gold medals, two silver and two bronze medals. Chengdu and Hangzhou city have two titles and Shenyang, Shenzhen, Lanzhou have one each.
Nearly 190 athletes, mainly aged between 15 to 17, from some 26cities participated in the Wushu matches beginning on October 18 to compete for 10 golds. Many of the players were very good even though they sometimes seemed unavoidably premature, but they wouldgain experience through practice and get ready for international matches in future, said Wang.
