Explosion kills two, injures as many in South China

An explosion killed two people and injured as many in Binyang County of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Saturday.

An explosion killed two people and injured as many in Binyang County of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Saturday.

The accident happened in a two-story residential building at the county's Guotai Village around 7:00 a.m. when leaked liquefied natural gas exploded and ignited firecrackers at the house, which caused a stronger blast, according to local police.

The two-story building collapsed in the explosion and one people was killed at spot.

Another three injured were sent to a local hospital, but one died on the way.

Further investigation is continuing.
