Pakistani president concludes China visit

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf left Beijing Wednesday, concluding his three-day state visit to China.

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf left Beijing Wednesday, concluding his three-day state visit to China.

During his stay in Beijing, Chinese President Hu Jintao held talks with him. Jiang Zemin, chairman of the Central Military Commission, Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met him separately.

A series of cooperative agreements were signed between the two sides to further promote Sino-Pakistani relations.

Before his arrival in Beijing, Musharraf attended the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2003, which opened in China's southernmost province of Hainan on Nov. 2.
