150 million yuan allocated to relieve disaster-hit schools

The central government of China has earmarked 150 million yuan (18.1 million US dollars) for rural schools in regions seriously hit by flood or earthquake disasters.

The central government of China has earmarked 150 million yuan (18.1 million US dollars) for rural schools in regions seriously hit by flood or earthquake disasters.

The relief fund will help to rebuild over 500 middle and primary schools in 85 counties with backward economies and to purchase teaching supplies for these schools.
