Sunday's Serbian presidential election failed again due to a low voter turnout.
According to unofficial results, the voter turnout was about 38percent, less than the 50 percent required to validate the vote, the Beta news agency reported, citing statistics form the independent Center for Free Elections and Democracy, a group that monitored the vote.
Among the six presidential candidates, 49-year-old Tomislav Nikolic of the Serbian Radical Party got about 46 percent of the votes.
This is the third failure of Serbian presidential elections in the last 15 months, all of which have been due to low voter turnout.
