State Council announces new appointments
The State Council of China announced its latest appointments and removals of government officials on Monday.

The State Council
of China announced its latest appointments and removals of government officials on Monday.
Zhang Xiaoqiang was appointed vice minister in charge of the State Development and Reform Commission;
-- Sun Songpu was appointed deputy commmissioner of the General Administration of Customs of China;
--Chen Dawei and Yang Xueshan were appointed deputy directors of the Information Technology Office of the State Council;
-- Pu Haiqing was appointed director of the Office with the Three Gorges Project Construction Committee (TGPCC);
-- Guo Shuyan was removed from his post as director of the Office of TGPCC; and
-- He Wenbin was removed from his post as deputy director of the Office of TGPCC.
