China sells locomotives to Uzbekistan
The first electric locomotive to be exported to Uzbekistan rolled off the production line at Zhuzhou, central China's Hunan Province.

rolled off the production line at Zhuzhou, central China's
Hunan
Province.
According to the 41.8-million-US-dollars contract, the Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Factory will supply another 11 locomotives to Uzbekistan later.
The locomotive adopts advanced technologies with 6,000 kilowatts of power and a speed of 120 kmh.
The factory has built over 3,200 electric locomotives since 1958, accounting for 70 percent of the total sum in China.
