The death toll of Chinese students killed in a dormitory fire at a Moscow university last month has increased to 11, and 37 still remain in hospital.

It was previously thought that only 9 had died, but officials in Chinese embassy say that of the four students who were previously unaccounted for, two have now been confirmed dead. The original figure of four unaccounted for students was wrong, and has been reduced to two.

On November the 24th, a huge fire ripped through a dormitory building at the People's Friendship University in Moscow, killing dozens of foreign students.
