East China's Shandong Province conducted 5.12 billion US dollars of trade with the United States from January to October this year, up 26.4 percent year-on-year, according to the Customs in the coastal city of Qingdao.

The volume accounted for 14.4 percent of Shandong's foreign trade during the 10 months, making the United States the third largest trade partner with Shandong, said the Customs.

The 10-month volume included 1.46 billion dollars of imports from the United States, up 46.8 percent year-on-year, and some 3.65 billion dollars of exports from Shandong to the United States, up 19.7 percent.
