The China Private Economy Research Society plans to launch a forum on private economy development in Taizhou, a coastal city in eastern Zhejiang province, said the association here Sunday. The research community really needs a settled site for academic exchange and entrepreneurs' training," said Bao Yujun, president of the society.

The society, established a decade ago, has become an authoritative institution on private economy research in the country.

And in Taizhou city, nearly 99 percent of the local taxation is from private companies.

The federation of industry and commerce of Zhejiang province, which led the way in developing the private economy, made the suggestion of establishing the forum in Taizhou last year.
