No SARS case in Chinese mainland

There was no report of any severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) case in the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. Saturday to 10:00 a.m. Sunday on the Chinese mainland, the Ministry of Health said in a press release. According to reports from all localities, there have been neither clinically confirmed nor suspected SARS cases on the Chinese mainland since Aug. 16, when the last SARS patient on the mainland was discharged from hospital, said the ministry. The ministry resumed daily reporting on the epidemic disease on Sept. 19.
