China's retail sales up 9.7 percent in November
China reported 420.27 billion yuan(50.78 billion US dollars) in retail sales in November, up 9.7 percent over the same month last year.

China reported 420.27 billion yuan(50.78 billion US dollars) in retail sales in November, up 9.7 percent over the same month last year.
Furniture, automobiles and communication products led the growth, increasing by 43.1 percent, 42.8 percent and 39.1 percent respectively, according to a monthly report issued by the NationalBureau of Statistics released Monday.
Retail sales in the first 11 months totaled 4,110.63 billion yuan (about 496.6 billion dollars), up 8.9 percent year on year, according to the report.
