Economy develops steadily in Shandong
The economy of east China's ShandongProvince has developed steadily, said Zhang Dekuan, vice director of the provincial Statistical Bureau, Wednesday.

Province has developed steadily, said Zhang Dekuan, vice director of the provincial Statistical Bureau, Wednesday.
According to a report released by the bureau, Shandong's gross domestic product (GDP) for the first three quarters this year amounted to 864 billion yuan (104 US dollars), up 13.2 percent on the same period last year.
From 1996 to 2000, the yearly average growth of the provincial economy was 11 percent. The growth rate was 10.1 percent in 2001 and 11.6 percent in 2002.
