Beijing faces tough employment situation in 2004
A survey released on Wednesday shows that there will be 250,000 job vacancies in this Chinese capital of Beijing next year.

A survey released on Wednesday shows that there will be 250,000 job vacancies in this Chinese capital of
Beijing
next year.
The survey was conducted jointly by some municipal government departments including the municipal bureau of statistics, the municipal bureau of labor and social security and the municipal bureau of personnel.
According to the survey, the 250,000 job vacancies are distributed in 260 occupations.
It is estimated that labor supply in the new year will stand at 640,000 in Beijing.
