DPRK, Ireland establish diplomatic ties

The Democratic People's Republicof Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Ireland announced on Saturday that the two countries have established diplomatic relations, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.

The Democratic People's Republicof Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Ireland announced on Saturday that the two countries have established diplomatic relations, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.

According to the report, the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries held official talks in Pyongyang on December 10,2003 and exchanged documents establishing diplomatic relations from that date.
