Former Guangdong court chief gets 15 years jail term for bribery

Mai Chongkai, former president of the Provincial Higher People's Court of south China's Guangdong Province, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for bribery here Wednesday by the First Intermediate People's Court of Beijing.

Mai's personal property worth 150,000 yuan (18,137 US dollars) was confiscated.
