Top 10 Chinese in capital market selected

Ten people were elected "2003's Top Chinese in Capital Market" Saturday, by participants at the ongoing First Chinese Capital Market Forum in Beijing.

Ten people were elected "2003's Top Chinese in Capital Market" Saturday, by participants at the ongoing First Chinese Capital Market Forum in Beijing.

The ten are Han Zhiguo, Wang Xianzhang, Shang Fulin, Zhou Xiaochuan, Tu Guangshao, Dong Wenbiao, Wu Xiaoqiu, Li Rongrong, Dong Fureng and Zhou Zhengqing.

The election, the first of its kind in China, was sponsored by Sina.com, the Beijing Television Station, and the Beijing Meinuo Investment Consultancy Company, with the assistance of the Securities Market Weekly.

Those who voted for the candidates included experts from the sponsoring institutions and on-line voters. A total of 69,842 votes were collected.
