Ten women were selected as 2003's leading females in the economic field Saturday by a group of economists and senior reporters from major media units.

Ten women were selected as 2003's leading females in the economic field Saturday by a group of economists and senior reporters from major media units.

A prize-giving ceremony for the winners was held Saturday in Beijing, with the attendance of Zhou Tienong, a vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

The awardees attended the first forum on the development of Chinese women in the economic field after the ceremony.
