About 100,000 Israelis Sunday night gathered at right-wing demonstration in Tel Aviv of central Israel.

The right-wing demonstration, the largest in past ten years, was organized by the Yesha Council to protest the planned evacuation of settlement outposts and unilateral steps to reduce Israel's presence in the Palestinian territories.

The Yesha Council, a council of Jewish settlements of West Bankand Gaza Strip, said that it was expecting some 150,000 people to attend the event.

Anything less than this number would be considered a failure, senior Yesha officials said.

But local police estimated the attendants at about 100,000, Israel Radio reported.

Israeli Minister without portfolio Uzi Landau, a member of Sharon's own Likud party, and three other cabinet ministers was reportedly among those who attended the rally.

Addressing the prime minister, Eitam said, "Especially now, when it seems that the world is winning the war against terror, we are hearing from you a weak voice."
