Daughter of corrupt official sentenced
The daughter of a former Chinese provincial Party secretary has been sentenced to three years in jail for tax evasion.

The daughter of a former Chinese provincial Party secretary has been sentenced to three years in jail for tax evasion.
Cheng Youlan was also fined 7 million yuan, or 850 thousand US dollars.
Her father, Cheng Weigao, is the former Party secretary of north China's
Hebei
province.
He has been stripped of Party membership after two of his former secretaries were sentenced on corruption charges. One of them has already been executed.
