Athens Olympic torchbearer's uniform unveiled

The Athens 2004 Olympic Organizing Committee has unveiled the uniform for the torchbearer of the Olympic relay.

The Athens 2004 Olympic Organizing Committee has unveiled the uniform for the torchbearer of the Olympic relay.

Miss Greece, Marietta Chrousalla, wore the uniform and showed it to the public with a torch in her hand.

About 11 thousand people will travel around the world, crossing five continents, to relay the torch in the lead up to the Athens Games in August.

The committee has also unveiled the Olympic Torch Relay route and officially launched the torchbearer selection program for the Greek leg of the relay.
