Food industry cashes in over 1.1trillion yuan in 2003

The gross production of China's food industry recorded 1159.538b. yuan for the first eleven months of 2003.

As learned from China National Food Industry Association, the gross production of China's food industry recorded 1159.538b. yuan for the first eleven months of 2003, 19.08 percent higher than that of the same period of the previous year. The sales revenue of the industry was 1100.768b. yuan, up 20.52 percent over the same period of the previous year and exceeding 1trillion yuan for the first time.
