Bus crash kills 11, injures 46 in Sichuan
Eleven people died and 46 were injured when a bus plunged down an embankment early on Tuesday in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Eleven people died and 46 were injured when a bus plunged down an embankment early on Tuesday in southwest China's
Sichuan
Province.
Police said the bus, traveling from the provincial capital Chengdu to Nanchong City, ran off the road and fell seven meters down to the flood land by a river at 00:10 a.m..
Ten passengers and the bus driver died at the scene, police said.
Most of the passengers were migrant workers returning home for the Spring Festival, which falls on Jan. 22 this year, police said.
All the injured had been hospitalized and police were investigating the cause of the accident.
