China will export 530 high-powered tractors to Venezuela in April this year, according to a recent agreement signed between China's No. 1 Tractors Group and officials from the agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery departments of Venezuela.

The more than 60 million yuan (US$7.23 million) worth export contract is so far the largest volume of tractors that China has exported to other countries. Of the total export, 265 tractors each with a power of 100 horsepower, or 74,570 watts, per minute are expected to end China's history of exporting only low-power tractors.

Manufacturing of the 530 tractors is going on smoothly.

Established in the 1950s, the No. 1 Tractors Group is currentlya leading tractors manufacturer in China. The group registered 4.7billion yuan (568 million US dollars) in sales last year, a year-on-year rise of 63 percent.
