PNG Prime Minister visits Shanghai
Papua New Guinea (PNG) Prime Minister Michael T. Somare left Beijing for a visit in Shanghai Wednesday and met with Han Zheng, mayor of the city.

Wednesday and met with Han Zheng, mayor of the city.
Somare said Shanghai impressed him deeply, saying PNG could learn from Shanghai in its future economic development.
He also hoped PNG businesses could strengthen exchanges with their Shanghai counterparts.
Han briefed Somare on the recent development of Shanghai, saying that economy of the city had maintained rapid growth over the last ten years.
