Chen Maomao is under intensive care after being successfully separated with a conjoined but immatured foetus, in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province on March 9, 2004. Doctor said the feotus, joined with Chen at the chest and belly, is Chen's twin brother that has not developed completely. The 5-day-old boy is now under treatment in Wuhan Union Hospital. Doctors say the birth of such asymmetrical twins is very rare, roughly one in 200,000.
