China to issue equivalent of US$4.6 billion in T-bonds

China's Ministry of Finance announced Thursday a plan to issue 38.16 billion yuan (4.6 billion US dollars) in book-entry treasury bonds from March 15 to 18.

China's Ministry of Finance announced Thursday a plan to issue 38.16 billion yuan (4.6 billion US dollars) in book-entry treasury bonds from March 15 to 18.

The bonds with a face value of 100 yuan (12 dollars) will be sold through the country's inter-bank markets and two stock bourses in Shanghai and Shenzhen at a price of 97.7 yuan (11.8 dollars) after the bidding among distributors and will have a one-year maturity term, it said.
